Upcoming New Images Lambretta G-Special Electric Scooter Electric Version
The electric Lambretta for India was not the only major news announced in 2018. Yesterday, at EICMA, it also revealed that it’s focusing on electric scooters and motorcycles, and also on investing in technology that uses hydrogen as fuel.
Lambretta has taken a keen interest in electric mobility recently, which it also announced at EICMA 2019. But it won’t be limiting its efforts on your run-of-the-mill EV technology; the company noted that besides working on electric scooters and bikes, it is also investing in hydrogen fuel technology so as to broaden its horizons in the context of electric vehicles.
The upcoming Lambretta G-special electric scooter will primarily go up against the likes of the Ather 450 that is currently the best bet in India when it comes to electric scooters. One of its special features is an illuminated logo on the footboard that recognizes the keyless transmitter and automatically illuminates as the rider approaches the scooter. The concept carries the signature Lambretta design language and features a full rider interface.

The Lambretta G325 Special concept comes fitted with J Juan disc brakes at the front and rear end. Some of its design highlights include LED headlamp, large body panels, unique air-intake snout above the front fender and long swooping lines.
